How to unblock a tear duct in 7 yr old dd pls?

She's had this for 2 weeks now. Have been told its a blocked tear duct and may go away as and when. How to speed up unblockage pls?

my ds had a blocked tear duct and it finally went away after some anti-biotic eye drops

Thank you for your input dizzymare and ggirl.

I have tried eyedrops and also antiboitic cream - both to no avail. I have today started rubbing the side of her nose from bridge down a few times a day hoping to unblock the duct.

Its still there. When I remember, I massage the side of her nose. Hopefully, one day, it will gradually disappear.
