Hello,

My one year old little girl was off food yesterday and miserable in the afternoon. Went to bed ok but was sick a lot during her sleep and found her this morning covered in it (very upsetting). She drunk half her morning milk then threw up about an hour later.

have given her calpol today and she hasn't been sick since. Had half her milk this afternoon but still not that interested in food.

Could calpol make an upset tummy worse? She doesn't have a temperature.

Thanks for any help.

Calpol is for relieving pain, and lowering temperature.

If she's not in pain and doesn't have a temperature then I can't imagine Calpol will help. It doesn't have any effect on stomach upsets to the best of my knowledge.

I found the syrupy texture made mine worse if they were sick. It could be coincidence that she hasn;t been sick since the calpol.

Hope she's ok poor little girl. Lots of fluids, little and often helps if she will drink.
