DS and I have been on it for a few days, I woke at 5am and DS was roasting hot, so was DD, hot to touch all over body,

I got them calpol, juice, took off extra layer etc ...

I cannot find my bloody thermometer anywhere (had it yesterday )

This morning DD (7 months) is happy self, but forehead still slightly hot to touch,

DS(3) says he feels poorly and forehead the same.

Should I call GP and get them on it too? Or wait and see?

I would get them on it. As far as I know the department of health guidlines are that anyone diagnosed with sf can have it. You have obviously been diagnosed? If I was in your position i would definately call gp.
