What to put on 4mth DS heat rash, if anything?

DS 4mths old and has heat rash (something he has suffered from regularly since birth). There is quite a lot of it over his shoulders, back and front (he's a sweaty boy!).

Should I put anything on it? He doesn't seem bothered by it so should I be.

PS - I am certain that it is heat rash and not anything else btw

Baking soda is great for treating heat rash. It can either be dusted on to the affected area or can be added to the baby's bath.
You can also use calomine lotion to cool the area.
Other than that, ice packs, cool baths and cold sponge downs will all help.
