do stypes cause eyelash loss and what can you do to alleviate symptoms

toddler already has lost eyelashes from chicken pox on eyelid

now same place big red pustuly bump which i presume is stye

what shall i do to it to help heal?

will he lose more eyelashes?

You can get over-the-counter cream for styes - I've had one called Goldeneye, but there are probable others too, I don't think he'll lose more eyelashes, it's usually just one follicle which gets infected. But if he's rubbing his eye then they'll come out more. Do stop him doing that if poss, specially as he could spread the germs to the other eye too!
