Would you go back to gp? Longish but I'd appreciate thoughts. Not when you're eating either.

DD (18 mths) was vomitting lots over Saturday & small hours of Sunday, then once Monday morning & once Tuesday. She had one bout of runny poo almost immediately before the first sickness. Vomitting got to the green bile stage pretty quickly. Couldn't keep water down by teatime.

Phoned NHS24 on Monday morning as she didn't seem to be improving at all and was sleeping virtually round the clock. Drowsy when she was awake and seemed to be in pain. Slight fever.

We were given an appt at out of hours clinic for that afternoon. Dr said 'viral infection' and prescribed TLC, calpol/nurofen as she still had slight fever. What we'd been doing really.

She had no solids (or milk either really) from Saturday lunchtime till Tuesday lunchtime. She's really only had a few bits of dry cereal, toast, rice cakes and banana since. She has had 3 softish poos and two episodes of the worst diarrohea between yesterday about teatime and tonight at the same time. ( No sickness since Tuesday about 11am)

She's definitely brighter today apart from the runny poo no real appetite still but drinking plenty and playing a bit. Last few days she was wiped out & we could barely raise a smile, wouldn't walk anywhere and showing no interest in anything.

I phoned GPs but they had just closed. Is it just because she's had virtually nothing for days and her little tummy is upset and a bit sensitive?

Would you go back to the Dr? The one we saw on Monday said it could take about a week to get her appetite back and seem like her usual self but the runny bot is worrying me.

Thanks for anyone's input.

Dr seemed to think it was her ears/throat intially rather than tummy bug and phlegm dripping into tummy was making her vomit which is kind of why I thought diarrohea was new symptom.

I could speak to a doctor on the phone but then if they thought I still needed an appt it's after lunchtime and I might not get one by then.

Will see how she is and decide in the morning.
