8 month old's eyedrops.. any more hints on how to get them into her eyes?

I've tried with the full swaddle but she still squeezes her eyes closed so tightly there's nothing I can do to get them in. I could try waking her up and trying but she's so wily she immediately goes into squinting rictus!

Hi ipanemagirl. DS2 (13 months) is having eye drops at the moment and the only way it can be done is by DH getting him in what looks like a half nelson while I pin his legs down, open up his eye and squeeze a drop in. Can't think of any other way to do it I'm afraid
