DD (18mo) has been prescribed an antihistamine can she have Calpol as well?

I had to take 18mo DD to the GP's on Friday as her eyes lids and face had swollen, so much so that her eyes were nearly swollen shut

She wasn't in pain and the GP seems to think she has had an allergic reaction to something but we don't know what.

Anyway she has started teething again and is in pain with it.

Am I able to give her Calpol while she has the antihistamine, I never thought to ask the GP this.

Yes. It's fine. They are completely different medicines.

Just don't give medised which already contains a mild antihistamine!
