sil has just told me that on Monday dn ate a whole packet of childrens vitamins. Dn had terrible tummy ache on Monday and sil didn't know why, but this morning dn confessed to eating the vitamins.

DN seems ok and I have gently suggested to sil that maybe she should ring dr, but she thinks it isn't serious, but I am worried should I be more firm with her?

Phone up NHS Direct and ask them. Even if she's not worried, he's your relative too. If they say not to worry you don't even have to tell her you called them

Thanks. I will do after they've gone. I think that because it's days after it happened sil thinks dn is ok because she has no symptoms and thats why she doesn't seem to think she needs to get her checked out. Had she know about it when dn was ill on Monday night I'm sure she would have phoned the doctor.

I have also asked dp to speak to her whilst they go get dinner.
