23mth old being sick 17 hrs was bile now blood in it

Son been vomiting since 8am saturday.on average hourly. Was just bright yellow bile yesterday pm not drinking water.has been drinking water since and just been sick again mostly water but now dark red bits in it assuming blood.changed bed again and he's gona back to sleep. What shall I do? Temp 37.5 was 38.2 at 10pm.

I would take him to the hospital. Its not right to be vomiting for that long and its certainly not right to have blood in it.

I'd take him in too.

Thanks.spoke to out of hrs doc. Told me not to worry re dark brown spec. Sometimes vessel ruptures when vomiting so long. He's asleep again and I'm next to him.will take to hospital if no improvement at first light. At least he's drinking water. Vomiting a lot back up but some must be staying in. Dehydration seems to be the main worry doc have.
