Recurrent fungal rash on DS2's scrotum...

... and I'm getting seriously pissed of, as is he, with the constant need to apply what we all now know as willy rash cream.

We've tried three kinds of cream now (under dr's orders) and nothing seems to work. He's just had a couple of weeks with no sweets at all and not an awful lot if fruit, and that's slowed down the regrowth - but not stopped it!

Any ideas anyone?

I would go back to the doctors. My ds had something like this when he was 4. We tried fungal cream for well over a week with no improvement and much distress for ds. It turned out it was a bacterial infection and he needed antibiotics to clear it.

Hmm!

Yes, going back tomorrow.

I think this isn't bacterial as the anti-fungals to clear it for a while. But then it comes back.

However, I will mention it to the nice lady who looks at his willy and see what she says!

Hi there. Can I ask what the rash is like please ? My son has a cluster of pimples in his groin and on his scrotum that aren't red or sore looking but seem to have become a permanent fixture. I'm wondering if they've been caused by a fungal infection...
