Giving Calpol BEFORE baby's 4 month immunisations?

Been advised by the nurse to give DS calpol 20 mins before his 4 month jabs as she says they are quite painful ones. Will this be harmful? Did other mums do the same?

Thanks

I shouldn't think it'd be harmful. I give calpol an hour before all jabs.

I didn't give any calpol. My dd gave a brief squawk but then was completely fine. My surgery recommend giving calpol if you see a temperature or reaction but not 'just in case'. I don't think it's a problem if you want to give calpol though. Up to you.
