Yesterday my son who is 6 had a large coin size mark on his face a bit like when kids are teething but he isnt. Teeth look clean too.

Today he woke up and its still there but its more rashy than yesterday and the other side is blotchy and on his cheeks up to his eyes.

Any ideas, he seems well in himself but cant get to docs.

Could it be slapped cheek? My little boy has just recovered from it.

Might he have slapped cheek disease? Nothing to panic about and it is perfectly possible to have the rash and still feel fine (my son did).

Impetigo? Is it weeping/crusting? Or - I agree with wotulookinat, it could be slapped cheek.

Another vote for slapped cheek, my DS has just had it too. He wasn't actually poorly with it, just bright red. I, on the other hand, have had to have bloods taken as it's dangerous for pregnant ladies who aren't immune - just so you are aware

no spots/crusts ntohing. Its flat a tiny bit hot and a few blotches over his ear.

My Ds wasn't ill with it either. Nasty rash on his cheeks that is taking a while to clear up, and a bit of a rash elsewhere that cleared up quickly. Once the rash started going away he had a bit of a runny nose, but never seemed to actually feel ill.
Jellyjelly, maybe it's just a mild case?
