can you combine anit-histamines and paracetomal?

DS has a niggling cough which will not go awway.
Medised didnt help, so after 4 hours I gace him some Piriton.
that hasn't helped either, can I give him nre medised?

He cant sleeep because of it.

Paracetomol and antihistamines won't help a cough anyway. Try raising his bed head and humidifying the air (iewet towel on radiator) or if snuffly use a vaporiser.
