Runny nose and bloodshot eyes = hayfever?

He's almost three. Do I need to see a doctor or should I just go to a pharmacy?

Just done a bit of googling and it seems it's very unusual in the under 5s - he also coughs a bit at night.

Oh yes had all his vaccines and is well in himself.
