Could a GP tell if dd's grommets are still in?

dd had grommets fitted last year aged 3. We were told at the time that they would probably fall out at some point. Lately dd has become incredibly loud again and very clumsy, like she was pre-grommets. Can the GP have a look and see if they're still there or do I need to make an appointment to see the ENT people? Thanks

Didn't want this to go unanswered, they could certainly take a look and see what state the eardrum was in. Would certainly be quicker than getting and ENT appointment.

Yes - they should be visible.
