Would you worry about exposure to chickenpox in week after MMR?

dd had mmr on tuesday. a friend of hers has been on holiday with someone who's got chickenpox so the friend will almost certainly be infectious. normally i wouldn't mind - good to get it out of the way - but would it be overload to get chickenpox at the same time as MMR stuff? (Practice nurse said not a problem but interested if others have also been told this.)

In the US they routinely combine the chickenpox vaccine with the MMR.

DD just had the MMR then about a week later my eldest DS came down with the pox. Three weeks later DD came down with it.

Apart from being very spotty she was fine.

There is no certainty and friend may not be conatgious for another week or more anyway. So would n't worry unduly btu if you are that concerned give friend a wide berth for 2 weeks or so !
