DS who is 3 in August. He keeps complaining that his legs hurt, its been about 4 days of this now but off and on, but consistently. And also he has started saying he is really cold, especially in bed though when he has 4 blankets on him, one a weighted blanket for sensory problems, one knitted, two quilts. He is even calling out in the night "I'm cold" but he is still asleep. A couple of times he had kicked some blankets off but sometimes they were still on him.

So basically its nothing major but just enough and often enough to nag at me. Any thoughts? He has a near perfect vocabulary so I know he understands the words. What do you think?

Braxton hicks don't hurt either according to many hcps.

Teething doesn't cause nappy rash.

Growing pains don't hurt. I wonder why they're called growing pains?

thanks for all your replies. He is asleep now and so far today no complaints (well I mean since about 4 am this morning) so I will keep an eye and possibly take him to GP tomorrow.

Next time he mentions the pain I will try to find out exactly where on his leg and whether or not both legs. In the meantime I will keep up with calpol - AND try the banana!!! Doesnt sound silly at all!

Banana is a good idea, yes.
