Hello - just did this at the weekend! I ground up some regular oats in one of those mini chopper things and put them in the middle of a muslin, twisted it up into a ball, put an elastic band round "neck" and put the whole thing in the bath. You can also use a stocking, apparently. I also adde d a few spoons of bicarb (good to the itching) but am not sure if that's OK with eczma. Oats should be fine tho. HTH.

Did this recently for DD who had chicken pox, and also has very dry skin. I put them in a tight sock thing, and just tied the opening end into a note and hung under bath taps as running the bath. Very milky - worked a treat. I also recommend calmonine lotion with aqueous cream. Good luck!

Yep, normal porridge oats. I'd say a handful - maybe a larger handful for the big bath. Did seem to help.

Normal oats not quick cook ones though - the starch in them will be different.

Yes, as others - normal oats. I put in a few handfuls - but you'll get a feel for that once you start running under the tap and seeing what comes from them. My DD was in such agony with her itching I didnt hold back on the oats!
