Tree pollen - tis the season - I haven't had allergies for about ten years and mine are shockingly bad this year because of the amount of blossom on the trees.

You can try keeping the windows shut and giving your DS a shower the minute he comes in from outside.

The cough sounds bad though - perhaps pop and see the GP.

This is interesting, DS has developed a wet cough, especially at night in the last few days. His asthma has been really good for about 8 weeks and we has started to reduce his meds.
Do you think it might be the tree pollen rather than the reduction in meds? I had not even considered it as a possibilty

Gp gave more abs and if no improvement in 24 hours got to go to hospital for chest x-ray
He said its hard to tell if its caused by allergy or infection and to treat it as both. Which we already do with inhalors and certizine and singular.
Ds not too bad at mo (touch wood)

DD also gasping badly, big deep cough as well like you all say. I am putting it firmly at the foot of the grass-mowing season and the blossom. Pah.
Must order more inhalers

Tis tree pollen...but it has got me really badly this year too. Possibly because its not as damp as the last few years
