Since moving back to the UK dc's eczema has got worse. We are treating it with various creams from the dermatologist but I was wondering if the washing powder was not helping the situation.

Is there a good brand to use - that also gets the clothes clean!!!! I've tried Ecover - didn't like it

I use surcare
Some people use those eco ball things

I really rate this, the postage is a bit steep if you don't want anything else though, I tend to get it in bulk (it comes in a bigger bottle and other scents too). I would still use a stain remover for bad stains though, or sometimes wash in Ariel and then re-wash.

Also my kids (both with bad eczema) are ok with Surf, but I prefer to do the majority of my laundry with something eco-friendly.

Quite like Surcare, but even then we wash it all again afterwards with no detergent.

Simply Pure seems pretty good, especially combined with Surcare fabric rinse.
