6month old DD is FF and has a sickness bug, hasn't eaten much today and thrown up her milk at bedtime. I know to keep her hydrated (she's had water a couple of times this evening) and as she sleeps through the night I'm not giving any milk until the morning (it may well come straight back up anyway), but should I wake her to give her more water during the night or leave her to sleep? Her temperature is ok and she is suprisingly chirpy considering she has an upset tummy. Her big brother never got sick as a little baby so this is new to me!

If she wakes it won't do any harm to offer some water. Sorry I can't be of more help, I've never used formula

Hope she's better soon

I would offer water if she wakes but would not wake her just to give her water. Assume she is not showing signs of dehydration?

I think I'll leave her to sleep, I expect she'll wake anyway and she can have some water then. She had quite a bit this evening so I won't force it on her. No signs of dehydration, just a bit under the weather I think.DS was sick at the weekend so she's got it off him.

ready4anothercoffee I only stopped bf a few weeks ago and did try and get her to bf a bit but I there wasn't any milk in there. This is the time when it's ideal for them, I have some in the freezer she can have tomorrow.
