my ds2 is nearly 4 months and since about 6 weeks he has had quiet bad eczema allover. i would love to take him swimming with ds1 but dont know if i can.
Can i take him?whats the earliest i can and how long do i spend in the water? how will it affect the skin? what precautions do i take? sorry to sound OTT but i just want the best for him...he has had it really but with the constant flare up and discomfort...please advise, much appreciated.

at 4mths your ds can def go swimming - unless in a heated baby pool, i wouldnt stay in the water for much longer than 15mins - babies get cold quickly

i would ask the pool what ph their water is - different pools vary, and try to use one with the lowest one

i would also shower him afterwards and then use his cream if has any to try and counteract any flaring/soreness

best thing for eczema and swimming is the sea - but a bit cold for that at the moment

happy splashing
