My son has just got chickenpox (2 weeks after my daughter has). If I give him say calpol or medised (he is a bit grizzly) am I able to give an antihistamine say like Piriton/Rhus tox as well? Thanks very much

The pharmacist told me that it was fine to give Piriton with Calpol (not sure about Rhus - never heard of it) although I never needed to as DS1 was fine in himself so didn't need calpol so I just used Piriton.

Hope he gets better soon

Not sure tbh. I think the Calpol and Piriton will be ok. My DS has CP too and a friend gave me some Medised but we didn't use it as I was giving him Clarityn (antihistamine). Thankfully he hasn't been too bad.
