'small print' of the red book growth charts

My 1yr old daughter was at about 50% weightwise when she born, but she very quickly moved up the chart, and has been on or around the top curve now since about 3months. The health visitor usually then says its fine as me and my husband are both tall (but not exceptionally so). I think I'd be more confident about her being on the top of the curve if I knew the small print about the data in the charts - what assumptions and limitations are. Are they still based on bottle fed babies, and does that matter once they're 1? I just want to make sure she's not going to end up being some 7'6" freak once she's grown up!

If she is going to be tall I very much doubt there is anything you can do about it.
