rash on trunk and neck in 6 month old

My lo has a weird rash on her trunk and under her chin (neck creases). Its skin coloured, not red at all, you can feel it far more than see it. It kind of looks like tiny little shiny bumps about the size of the tip of a ball point pen.

Any one any ideas what this could be? She is fine in herself. We don't use any products and she is breast fed, just started on food recently but doesn't look like a typical food allergy rash. Its not red, or angry just a bit unsightly.

I did consider molluscum as dd1 has a similar little spot under her arm altho just the one and in my experience of molluscum they've been bigger and more round iykwim.

Hives maybe? have you changed the washing powder or put her in a new top that's not been washed?

Could be a food allergy rash.

Chicken pox?

6inchnipples · 08/03/2009 15:46

its like milia, but seeing as they've only just appeared i wondered if it could be something else, def not chicken pox as not blistery or red and started over a week ago. They are tiny pearly white bumps.

Don't think its food as doesn't look like an allergy rash.

Anyone seen milia on older baby and on trunk rather than face?
