has anyone else had a child with this? He has a small lump, like half a pea sized, behind his ear, it's hard and bony to the touch. He hasn't complained of any pain, it's just something I noticed and thought, ooh, that shouldn't be there. It is not a wart, it is hard. Just wondered if anyone knew what it could be. It is not getting any bigger, and I think he's always had it..

It's a gland.

sorry, check with your GP if you are concerned. It sounds like a gland, do take him if it gets any bigger though.

Alien implant?

Actually there is proper name for them, my sis has one, can't remember right now but it's harmless.

swollen lymph node I believe but check with doc if it's worrying you, they're normally good with children.

thanks! it is not getting any bigger, doesn't seem to hurt him so think I will leave it for now!
