We can save our money and just give them hot drinks to make them feel better. Announcement here

"There is no robust evidence that they work. At the time many of these products were authorised it was assumed that medicines worked the same way in adults and children ... clinical trials were not routinely done in children. However, we better understand now that children are not 'little adults'."

Cough medicines don't work!

All they do is mask your symptoms if that, and anyway coughing is the body's way of getting rid of bugs and infection.

Because the medicines regulatory body has changed the rules and the pharmaceutical companies are not allowed to market the products for under 12s any more.
