19 month old holds breath as if needing a poo a lot of the time

eg when playing, readsing, concentrating etc

do any of your kids do this?

does not seem distressed but to me and hubby odd that he holds bretah then lets go

esp when bending, crouching

My ds (5) does this a lot. I remember I used to do it too when I was younger, but didn't realise until someone told me when I was about 15 - I think I was annoying her in class at school!

my dh does this! but thankfully dd doesn't appear to have adopted this way of breathing! I do personally find it ever so irritating though, but he's old enough to get a good dig in the ribs when I catch him doing it
