DS needs to have some wax removed, according to the nurse. DH came home saying she'd recommended olive oil but he didn't get instructions. Presumably we get the oil in with a dripper. But how many drops? and do we do special cleaning afterwards or does it just sort itself out? DS is 5.

Have your DS lie down on one side

Four or Five drops in the ear, massage ear behind the lobe. Small bit of cotton wool to keep it in. He will probably pick at that.

Leave for a couple of hours, repeat with other ear.
