She had a dose of calpol at 5ish and a dose of nurofen at 6ish.

She had a decent sized tea ok it was all her fav foods: jelly, rich tea biscuits, raspberries & blueberries.

She refused her ff but did drink some water.

Do I physically wake her or just open eindow, loosen clothing etc??

I would suggest taking her temp to make sure it is going down. And follow all the usual advice on not allowing her to overheat.

If her temp hasn't gone down I would phone NHS Direct for further advice. Trust your instincts - if you feel concerned, then phone. They are great, they take you through the proper checks and put your mind at rest.

BTW am a numpty mum of two and not a medic!

As long as she is comfortable I wouldn't wake her. Keep her in light weight clothes etc so they aren't warming her up anymore but a temp isn't a bad thing - it means her body is fighting off whatever nasty is working on her. I have a sick boy myself at the minute so I know what it's like! Hope she feels better soon!
