cloudy urine in 10yr old dd but although dr concerned indicator stick showed nothing

took her to docs last night with a fresh urine sample.it was very cloudy which doc was concerned about.when he did the first stick test though nothing changed colour.he said there wasn't blood or sugar in it but he would send it up to be looked at anyway.she's had a bit of discomfort but not the usual burning sensation of cystitis more like symptoms of thrush really.slight abdominal pains.thing is,she was getting same symptoms about 5 weeks ago and then they went.she says she feels like she's dribbling sometimes and yet she's never been a wetter at all.can anyone give me some help?Also,will a sample that was done last night and won't be sent up to hospital till this morning give an accurate result?

My dd had exactly the same symptoms one summer. The first stick test was OK but it was sent away and she needed antibiotics. They said she should also have a scan but we went back home (abroad) and she hasn't had any trouble since.

yes she's on antibiotics but i'm just so worried that it's something more serious.

what about the sample?Will it be ok?

actually,just checked with surgery about sample and they've said that it is in some sort of preservative so ok to go up today.please someone reassure me that her symptoms are normal..
