Taking into consideration that it will cost me a gazillion bronie points at work, and about £a gazillion as I'm on a zero hour contract...

shall I send ds2 with gunky eyes to his preschool tomorrow???

I don't think dh can look after thim if he stays home- it's my turn to take the day off

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Tamarto · 10/02/2009 19:38

No!

10weeks · 10/02/2009 19:39

I think they would send him straight home again if you did

2cats2many · 10/02/2009 19:39

Absolutely not!

rubyslippers · 10/02/2009 19:40

it is very contagious

they will send him home anyway

silverfrog · 10/02/2009 19:42

according to the HPA, here there is no recommended period to keep a child off nursery etc (ie it is not necessary).

however, ime, most pre-schools won't take a childwith gunky eyes.

missmapp · 10/02/2009 19:44

In my sons nursery they take them if they have the drops from the doctor, but then they do adminster them there which i suppose a pre school wont do. Talk to them and see what their policy is.

ok, we've not had conjunctivitis before- ds1 is 5 and ds2 is 3.
can't work mout how we've never had it and i just didn't know that much about it.

thanks for the prompt replies.

Get some Goldeneye from the chemist, best stuff ever! (Check with pharmacist first to make sure it's OK for him obviously!!)

Tamarto · 10/02/2009 19:52

I'll have him, depending on the choice of DVD of course

oopsagain · 10/02/2009 20:23

well, he will come with thomas and the bleedin' great discovery, of course, being a 3yr old boy.

I can send Fargo, spaced, back books and the Lakes if you like tho'
