what is that bit of dangly skin that is left?

Its a top front tooth, it's been giving her alot of pain, and has taken since beginning of october to come out.
Every tooth has ben painful for her to lose, having to resort to calpol etc..

Anyway, she banged this one in the bath last night, and it bled like feck, as i guess it was dislodged slightly before it was ready. She then gave it a little tug as it was hanging, and out it came. Yet this dangly bit of skin, is a bit wierd. Oh it's not as dangly as last night tho btw!!

This is just the soft tissue that holds in the tooth, my DS had this it took a few days for it to firm up and shrink and then disappeared.
