We have BCG for my 8 month DD tomorrow and I wondered if anyone has any tips on minimizing scarring? Also is it advisable to do the usual calpol dose before the injection?

apparently vitamin e cream is great at reducing scarring - I think you can get it at Holland and Barratt etc. My step father had a lot of nasty stitches on his head 2 years ago and you can hardly see the scar now as he used it religiously on the advice of a nurse.
