Can I give my dd calpol and cough mixture at the same time?

She is 7 and either has a very bad cold or flu ,she has a chesty cough dp has just been and bought her some benylin chesty cough mixture is it safe to give with 6+ calpol?

Sorry posted before I finished, the chesty cough is bothering her and making her throat more sore .

Providing the cough mixture doesn't contain paracetamol then it is fine.
