DD1 has nits (yuck!) do i treat her with the chemical killer or just do a tea tree condition and comb job?

I've found less than 30 of the little critters?

Hedrin 12 hours. Wash out apply loads of any old conditioner. Comb for 20 mins + with metal nit comb then go all over again with nitty gritty comb.

3 days later repeat the conditioning and combing lark.

3 days after that repeat the whole process (so hedrin and washing and conditioning and combing again).

3 days later repeat the conditioning and combing again.

From now on check dd's hair at least every 3 days for nits. If you get right on top of them and then condition and comb as soon as you see any more signs, then you will have them under control and not become infested. Total eradication seems impossible to hope for in some schools ime .
