4 month old, very hot and sleepy, hasn't pooed today?

My 4 month old Ds hasn't pooed since early yesterday morning, he keeps farting (which STINKS!) and crying, he's now feeling very hot to the touch, and very sleepy.

Would this be because he is a bit blocked?
Would giving him some very watered down prune juice help?
Have given Calpol for his temp. TIA.

i would offer cooled boiled water if he seems constipated, but otherwise just his normal milk should be enough, temperature might be coincidence and nothing to do with his tummy. try a warm bath and gently bicylcing his legs and a gentle tummy massage to see if that helps get things moving.

if he is very sleepy and hard to rouse you should speak to a doctor , otherwise, see how he goes and if the calpol helps

have you given him a nice deep bath with you, or massaged his tummy at all? that tends to help get d2 moving. it needn't be connected to the temp, that could just be a wee virus.

Thanks, He is my 3rd baby, and I know I know these things already, IYKWIM, but I am slightly neurotic over him for some reason, Im always worried there is something awfully wrong!
Its like having a PFB all over again!
