recovering from bad bronchiolitis - anyone recommend a humidifier?

My little boy (6mths) has been recovering from bad bout of bronchiolitis and is still very wheezy. been back and forward from doctors and apparently all is ok just will be a while to clear up. Still having alupent syrup.

Thinking of getting a humidifier, has this worked for anyone else, any recommendations (are the cheaper ones any good or do you get what you pay for?)

I got a cheapish one from argos. I think it was about £30. It has really helped DS who's 10 months and has had bronchiolitis 3 times and pneumonia twice this winter. Not sure what brand it is though.

I got the cheapest one from argos, is a "vicks" one. It really helped when DS had croup.
