changed ds2 nappy today and there are tiny little red streaks in it...he changed formula on monday but has been fine on it.. he is on ducosol (also monday) that the paed gave him for constipation (seeing paed for reflux also) they really were little streaks and wouldnt have noticed them if i wasnt keeping an eye on his poo at the mo,

any ideas?

I worried myself sick over this, dd started doing it at about 5 weeks, saw the doctor about 6 times over the next few months, had her poo tested, gp kept saying not to worry, she grew out of it when she was weaned.

hth.

could be an anal fussure (sp??). basically where he has strained a little and made tiny tears as the poo has come out.....my DS2 suffers bad constipation and even now suffers from them, making tiny red streaks of blood on the poo.

not too mush to worry about unless it hurts his....you might want to get some cream for his. I used vasaline on my son....helped a little, and then as the meds worked on softening his poo it got better. he suffers still tho as his bowel probs seem to go in cycles of loose to hard, but I am waffling now.

try not to fret, (easier said than done, I know!)
