My 15mo has just had a really bad bout of diarrhoea lasting 5 days. I phoned NHS direct and they said it's going around, give plenty of fluids and it'll pass in 5ish days. HTH

5 days

My house smells of soapy vomit!

I know! So does mine! Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings... you could buy some glade?!?!?!

BabyStarlightsMum · 14/01/2009 19:55

Does that mean my DS won't have anything to eat for 5 days?

Every time I give him even a yogurt it comes up straight away.

Oh dear, your poor little DS, my DS wasn't that bad. Hardly ate anything but drank water. You may need to go to the doctor if he's not keeping liquids down? He may get dehydrated.

He's had 20 raisins at 8:30. Half a banana at 9pm and the other half at 9:15. So far it's stayed down, but he's very hungry. He keeps saying

'nana'

'gogat'

and then grizzling.

Oh bless him. When I spoke to nhs direct they said give carbs- bananas, bread etc as they are fast energy. Most important thing is wet nappies. She suggested giving an ice lolly if he won't drink. Good luck- hope he gets better quickly.
