"lovebite" in neck crease

hi. dd (5mo) has a red mark in the crease on her neck - looks a bit like a love bite (i'm pretty sure it's not!!).

i think some milk or water must have got stuck in there and the skin looks a bit sore. very common, i'm sure, but how should i treat it? i've cleaned and dried it and put some bepanthen (nappy cream) on it. is that right? or would i be better with antiseptic cream or something? it's red, but not a open sore or anything. tia.

Are you sure, they are starting young now you know. What is the world coming to?

I'm sure it's just as you say, It's very important to dry all creases after a bath or washing. They get sore quite easily if not dryed. Use some liquid talc to help make sure creases are really dry. Bepanthen will be fine to help. Pits and backs of legs and behind ears are other areas that can suffer.

My ds had that - I took him to the docs (the shame of my pfbness) who sighed and told me to dab a bit of sudocrem on it.
