Flameboy has em

He has never had them before in spite of DD getting them often (the joys of school), but I guess he is now starting.

Anyway, he has insanely fine hair, with a curl - still very much baby hair.

A nit comb will kill it.

As much as I am anti-lotion, I know he wouldn't sit still for conditioner combing anyway.

So, if I treat him with lyclear or summat, do I have comb them out, or can I just wash out the dead fellas as n when iyswim

Tea tree oil is supposto kill them. ds has had them once, I picked them out. As long as you check his hair every day to look for new lice then this should get rid of them. I was lucky as ds only had a few lice and a few eggs so I don't think they had been there for very long.

I would try and comb them out...the eggs never seem to die completely, can you put him in front of the tv to take his mind of it? Also have found the Nitty Gritty comb to be the most effective, as for lotions Lyclear or Hedrin works well other than that it's back to conditioner...good luck!

I think i will go with the picking out method - combing really will just break all his hair off
