Hi,

my DS is 13 weeks and has an slightly odd shaped head. I know this is not a big deal, but I would quite like to take him to a good children's osteopath. He seems to always fall to sleep on the same side, although I see no sign of torticollis, as he is able to look in all directions.

Anybody can recommend someone?

There is the centre for canial ostepathy in Farringdon.
It's run on a pay what you can afford to basis.

Here you go

When you say North, how far North are you? There is the Centre of children's osteopathy (that may be the name, but I would need to check) in Clerkenwell. Is that any good or too central?

Hi Rubles and Thomcat, both farringdon and Clerkenwell are absolutely fine by me (I think you are both referring to the same place, actually, am I right?).

Is there any particular individual you would recommend, or do you have any stories regarding your babies and osteopaths?

Thanks a lot

Same place yes

The centre appoint you an osteopath and you are taken into a large open planned room with several beds. They ask you lots of questions and then start to work on your baby. Another person may join in with the treatment. They will also work on you for half an hour while someone cuddles you DS. It's a lovely place. Been a few times with each DD.

Thomcat, that sounds great! I'll make an appointment. Looking at their website I see that they deal with all sort of problems, even eczema, which my LO has, so I think it can only help.
