My DS had one in his eyelash and the scab did not come of the lash until it grew out. I did not notice that he had less eyelashes but he had two big pox in his sideburns that sort of moulded together and now he has a bald patch there. He had it really bad and has quite a few scars on his face. But they have all faded in time. I had c/pox at 15 and did not get nearly as scarred. You can get vitamin E oil and rub in into the scars (not eyelash ones though) and it can help.

I have this - I had chicken pox as a child (I was 5 I think) and have a patch of missing eyelashes on one eye. People hardly ever notice - I used to fill in the gap with eye liner to make it less noticeable but hardly ever bother now. It's just one of my unique features!!

Same here - I have a tiny gap (prob 2 or 3 eyelashes if I had to guess) where I had chicken pox as a child. Never grew back, but to be honest, you don't notice it unless you look specifically (or so I think ).

Whilst it might look like a large area now, it might look a bit smaller as he/she grows up?

Hello I notice a very long time you posted your concerns regarding your child having missing eyelash and gap on eyelid due to chicken. I waa hoping how is it now my daughter had the same on her left eye to she has a gap and no eyelashes there due to trauma from chicken pox it always upset me she had it like your child very young. She seems OK with it now, but just wondering how you dealt with it. Thank you
