DD has really sore chin and says her tongue is burning

Chin was red yesterday now it looks sore (a bit like a graze) she also says her tongue hurts and the tip looks an angry red colour .

Any ideas its her party tomorrow and older dc nativity so would not want to keep her off unless she is contagious or really ill .

Is Hand, Foot and Mouth doing the rounds at the school do you know? The "rash" looks like minute blisters and I think it can spread to inside the mouth and on the tongue. Hope she's okay - you know how quickly they bounce back.

That was my first thought or impetigo .
Luckily DP has just got her an appt with GP at 5pm .
