DS was born 13 days overdue and was 10lb 5oz. In the past few weeks he has become too big for 3-6m then before I even had a chance to buy more 6-9m they are abit snug on him! The ones he is in now are the ones DS wore, kept for emergencies as they were post weaning ones He hasn't been weighed since about 3/4 weeks - should I now?

I wouldn't worry, he's just a big boy. My ds was big at birth (not as big as yours ) but he outgrew clothes very quick.
I was getting him weighed every 2 weeks as was super paranoid about feeding and over feeding but that's only because he's pfb!!

My dd who was born overdue and 10lb 6oz didn't hit the height centiles until she was around 6 months old and has remained on 98th cetile for height. Provided there are some tall genes in the family I wouldn't worry at all.

My ds2 was christened at 4 months in an 18 month outfit. He is now 18, over 6 ft and well built (rugby player rather than long distance runner iyswim!) but by no means fat. He was 9lb 6oz at birth a week early.
Had a peek at your profile and he certainly doesn't look fat just gorgeous! ( I,m assuming that the baby pictures are of the young man in question ) I wouldn't worry.

weigh him! weigh him!

my ds birth 20 weeks is still (just) in 6-9mths but a BIG BOY (a distinctly average 3.36kg at birth but 8.4kg at 16weeks..!)

weigh him!(I'm guessing 9kg!)

omg my 19month weighs 15lbs 10oz and just gone into 6/9 mth clothes. but she was tiny when born im waiting for her to grow into her car seat so I can have her forward facing

Yep, he's the 'wee' one He isn't fat, just rather large. Infact if anything he is thinning out. DS1 is loooong despite me being 5'2" and DH 5'8", so I guess maybe I have another tall one. He doesn't even feed that much and has slept pretty much through (my version - 11 ish until morning) from week 2. He must be super efficient feeder. I don't want to weigh him unless I have to. I may buy some scales actually...
