After 10 years and 3 kids you'd think I'd have worked out how to give ABs to a baby wouldn't you?

I get the technical bit (firm hold, squirt etc)

I just don't get the timing bit. 3 times in 24 hours, at regular intervals. While he's at nursery from 9-5...

So. What do you do when?

i would do 8am, 2pm and just before bed. Nursery should administer for you.

Also, does it say anything about taking on an empty stomach/an hour before food etc which you need to take into account? DD was on ABs for impetigo at one week old - trying to time doses so that they were on an empty stomach and between feeds with bf baby feeding every 2 hrs was bloody impossible!
