Bleeding sores around mouth/under nose after slapped cheek

DS2 (age 3 3/4) had slapped cheek last week which quickly faded to spots under his nose and around his mouth.

The problem is , what with constant green snot, the spots aren't healing and any scabs forming are breaking and the spots are bleeding. I have been putting savlon on and the pharmasist gave me Doublebase as well. I just wondered if anyone had any miracle treatment! I have even put a plaster across his nose to protect one of his spots.

It is generally a barrel of laughs in this house as DS1 is off school with sore throat and cough and I am run down as well! Roll on spring!

I find sudacrem is the best for this sort of thing as it heals and provides a barrier iyswim.

thanks..hadn't thought of that. just found some and it does say not in the mouth or nose so i have put it around the area with strict instructions for him not to lick.

Don't worry if he licks it it isn't toxi. My ds had a dribble rash which was quite severe last week and i've been putting it on that area everyday and it has totally cleared it up. You rub it in quite well for it to work.
