Ds has rash on abdomen and groin after vomiting after eating egg and cheese yesterday.

Hi. Very stupidly I gave ds 7 months cheesy scrambled eggs yesterday - and he has never had either cheese or egg before. I know this was very silly of me - I forgot I should not introduce 2 new things at the same time.

He vomited 5 minutes later and then about half an hour later when he had some milk. He has eaten (things he is used to) and had milk since and been fine.

This morning he has a mild, evenly spread rash on his torso and a few patches near the tops of his legs. I have booked an app with my Dr this morning - he is pretty useless but the only Dr I could see at short notice.

Does anyone think this is a reaction to the cheese or egg ? I think it probably is but wondered if anyone had experienced the same thing.

Ds is fine in himself.

It sounds very like a friend's DD's dairy intolerance/allergy. She used to throw up and then have a rough eczema rash the next day. She grew out if it by about 5 though.

let us know what the gp said please.
